Real Time Race promises to let you race against the pros, in real time

There’s certainly no shortage of impressive augmented reality games around these days, but it doesn’t look like the folks behind the so-called Real Time Race will have any trouble turning a few heads with theirs, at least if they can actually deliver as promised. Motorola Milestone Available in Germany and Italy Soon

Official specification of the GSM Motorola Milestone is now available on Motorola website, with the same features as its CDMA version Motorola Droid. As what we have already learnt from previous post, the Milestone will be offered by O2 Germany and Vodafone. It will also reach Italy soon together with the launch in Germany.

NEC NP610 Entry-Level Projector Announced

NEC have announced a new projector named the NEC NP610. It falls in to the entry-level category but has a fairly bright projection of 3500 lumens making it work well in conference halls and class rooms.

For connectivity it supports DVI-I, VGA, 3 audio inputs and variable audio out. Connectivity over a network is also possible although network connectivity is simply for remote diagnostics rather than transmitting presentations over IP. Green programs in Oregon bleeding the state books red

Oregon’s biggest problem used to be logging jobs lost from spotted owl lawsuits.

A new sort problem is developing. Green jobs and green programs are going off the rails. Portland recently passed a draconian “Climate Action Plan to reduce CO2 emissions by 80% that has little chance of succeeding by its 2050 deadline.

Intelleflex gets an engineering team from big chip maker and raises $8M

Silicon Valley has the rarest of things today: a silicon company with a new infusion of funding. Chip maker Maxim Integrated Products is spinning out one of its engineering teams into the chip startup Intelleflex in return for an equity stake. On top of that, Intelleflex has raised $8 million from New Enterprise Associates to make tiny radio chips.

Apple TV 3.0, iTunes 9.0.2 Released [TheAppleBlog]

Following a presumably unintentional disclosure in the terms of service for the iTunes Store, Apple has released Apple TV 3.0, as well as a corresponding update for iTunes.

As previously reported, Apple TV 3.0 supports iTunes LP and iTunes Extras, and does so with a new look.
